Zinfandel is Wisdomtooth Film's first attempt at making a film - a short film.
We have ambitions of become a film-making collective of sorts, and making many more short films from scratch. All we need are people who want to tell good stories and have the willingness to work afterhours.
I wrote Zinfandel last year and decided to make it, with the help of a few friends(without whome this wouldn't be possible) and a dslr camera, the Canon EOS 5D. That's how Wisdomtooth Films started, though the name has been stuck in my head for years.
Zinfandel is a story about lonliness, alienation, urban living and our notions of privacy and exclusivity. Its a sort of urban drama - the kind we live in and yet that which goes unnoticed, like an invisible hand that brushes you in a crowd and you wonder - if what you felt was real, did it happen or did it not?
